The meeting was called to order by Mrs. Vilardi at 7:00 P.M.

Minutes: Motion made by Mrs. Foster, seconded by Mr. Conway, to accept the minutes of the last meeting. Motion PASSED – Ayes – 5, Nays – 0. Voting aye – Vilardi, Ellis, Foster, Conway, Schlicht.

FINANCIAL REPORT: Waiting for petty cash return from Tax Collector. The New York State Retirement System now requires all elected officials to report on their activity for a three month period, to be completed by the end of June. All appointed officials must make this report annually. Mr. Chartrand recently received the 2010 Retirement Incentive Program details. The Town would need to adopt a local law if any employees were interested in participating. Also, we would be required to pay 28% of the employee’s salary, which could be paid in increments over four years. One employee is interested but may already be eligible if he is a Tier 1 employee. Mr. Virgil will check on this. All Highway employees will be on vacation from July 1st through July 9th. Mr. Conway will sign the checks in Mrs. Vilardi’s absence.

ZONING REPORT: Mrs. Vilardi reported that the meeting scheduled for June 17th was postponed. Also, there are some pools recently installed that exceed the height of 24 inches deep and will require a fence.

HIGHWAY REPORT: Mr. Virgil received payment of $9,276 from Dado’s for the truck. He also reported he will not be building an addition to the Highway Garage at this time. They will be making other repairs instead.

NEW BUSINESS:

Caseys: Mrs. Riker will send a thank you from the Town for the flowers they donated for the front of the Community Center.

OLD BUSINESS:

F.A.C.C.: Mr. Schlicht believes the ceiling in the kitchen was repaired (by Denis Ten Eyck).


Regular Town Board Meeting June 21, 2010



Village Offices: Mr. Virgil will have the extra doors and frames removed from the room, along with some other miscellaneous items.

Motion by Mr. Conway, seconded by Mr. Ellis, to pay the bills on Abstract #5 in the following amounts:

Highway Fund Vouchers 55 through 67 $ 12,996.01
General Fund Vouchers 112 through 139 $ 23,695.07
Motion PASSED – Ayes –5, Nays – 0. Voting aye – Vilardi, Schlicht, Ellis, Foster, Conway.

Mrs. Vilardi will be out of town for the August meeting date. Therefore, the next regular meeting will be moved to Monday, August 23, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Fabius Area Community Center.
